Let's crack down Natural Skincare Benefits: 4 Reasons Why You Should Always Go Natural.

Although Natural term is not regulated (see here our definitions in terms of "natural" skincare), we all just gravitate towards the term "natural" as a consumer. In general, our notion of natural skincare means using naturally-derived ingredients inside your beauty jars, and all are good. It consists of plants, roots, herbs, and essential oils to treat and nourish the skin.

There are endless surprising benefits when it comes to using all-natural beauty products, so here is our view on natural skincare benefits:

Natural Skincare cures body acne:

Our founder Ruchita decided to switch to all-natural beauty products after

struggling with hormonal imbalance and infertility for several years. During this time, she spent a small fortune on chemical-heavy products to find that they only aggravated my skin further. It developed adverse effects on her skin because skin products can affect directly into the bloodstream.

Going natural was kind of a last resort, but to her amazement, it actually worked!

Once she removed synthetic ingredients from my skincare routine, her dry skin on her body and acne reduced significantly. She found that her skin was way calmer and more manageable. Although she still gets flare-ups from time to time, she no longer panics because she now has skincare that she can rely on, which is half the battle won when it comes to acne.

Nature Skincare prevents diseases like cancer, allergy.

Do you know that you are unknowingly increasing your cancer risk for the sake of beauty? Many synthetic beauty products contain cancer and allergy-causing.

In our opinion, ingredients in significantly less amount if you are using those synthetic products every day. It can cause a problem at a later stage. For example, the environmental working group (EWG) found the carcinogen (cancer-causing ingredient) 1,4-dioxane in 28% per personal care products. At the same time, transparent and natural skincare brands take care of allergy and cancer-causing ingredients very seriously.

As a brand, Glow & Green believe that we are responsible for helping educate consumers on what is (and isn't) in their products; in-house manufacturing practice gives us full control. That's why we are grateful to provide affordability and transparency in our consumers' natural skincare products.

Natural Skincare gives more potency inside the products;

that's why we believe it doesn't mean you are compromising the qualities. Instead, you are getting more value for the product.

There's a common misconception that once you start using natural beauty products, those products aren't as effective as chemical-based beauty products. Natural skin care products consist of a thrifty vibe of the formulation. We are here to tell you all that this is not true – there is no need to think natural, handcrafted products are thrifty and less effective.

As an indie brand, we go through various science-based research and implement it in our formulation. Not just Glow & Green, but there are so many unique brands out there who rely on research as well as loads of information to support plant-based ingredients.

There are all kinds of effective natural options that can easily rival

non-natural beauty brands, from skincare to make-up to deodorant and hair care.

It's more like applying processed food vs. buy farm-fresh food for your body. If we develop our minds like that, you won't think that natural skincare is less effective.

Adopting Natural Skincare = Long-term Results

Removing synthetic chemicals from your beauty products and adopting natural skincare means setting your skin will start to respond to the natural nutrients you are supplying. Think of the fantastic benefits of (L) lactic acid, derived from natural glucose versus a chemical-based formaldehyde glycolic acid.

Both are considered alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs), but one is derived from organically and naturally. Your skin reacts to the natural ingredients in a much better way, offering you immediate and long-term results. The yogurt powder contains a potent 7.4% lactic acid (L) that exfoliates, helps balance skin's pH, and reduces transepidermal water loss. It also reduces wrinkles and pigmentation/discoloration, creating smoother skin with improved texture.

Natural Skincare is not just right for your body but also for the planet

Let's talk about sustainability in skincare; many synthetic ingredients found in mainstream beauty products are known to be irritant - or worse - carcinogenic. These ingredients can interfere with the body's natural rhythm and affect our long-term health. While natural beauty products are retrieved from plant-based ingredients, it is less processed, and healthily support our health.

In addition to natural products being better for our bodies, they are also better for the environment. By applying toxic chemicals during our beauty regimes, we reduce chemical disposal levels in the environment, preventing the loss of wildlife and marine life. So, if you're not doing it for yourself - do it for the animals!

Being sustainable, natural, and transparent brands are free from ingredients like parabens, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate and Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Phthalates, Phenoxyethanol, toluene, mineral oil, and many more. We want to make sure that our products are natural and safe when we tell our products because it comes from nature in the purest form.

We believe in this because, as a customer, when you get any "natural."Claimed beauty products from the store, we would like you to count how many ingredients you can recognize? Honestly, I have heard that many of our customers that when they start reading the ingredients. They didn't understand why sorbic acid claims to be "natural" in 100% pure natural beauty products. Is it worth a thought, right?
