Almond Oil

Almond milk is the trendy dairy alternative that we've all been adding into our morning lattes, but did you know that almond oil can be just as good for not only your skin but also your overall health? In Ayurveda, the energetics of almond oil are listed as madhur (sweet), ushna (hot) and snigdha (oily). Being sweet and nourishing in nature, almond oil strengthens all body tissues. It softens and soothes the skin and muscles and readily penetrates to the deeper tissues. This is all happens because almond oil is a rich source of vitamin E, vitamin D and essential minerals.

Coconut

Coconut represents holy fruit in India. Besides offering coconut to the god in every Hindu ceremonies, in Indian skincare, coconut has been used in as skincare for centuries whether it’s coconut water, coconut pulp, or coconut oil.  Coconut not just smoothens your skin but also works as a natural toner. The fats present in coconut minimizes the pores that attract all the dirt and bacteria and prevent the skin from getting damaged.

Orange

Drying orange peel in Indian household or applying orange juice on skin, in India orange is one of the home secrets, women are using for centuries for skin care and haircare. Natural oils in Oranges help to moisturize skin, providing softer healthier looking skin for longer. Antioxidants found in Oranges fight free radicals which may slow down the production of wrinkles, and stop premature aging. Oranges have a high content of citric acid which aids in skin exfoliation and helps to dry out acne, improving the overall look of your skin. Vitamin C helps the body to form collagen and elastin which will keep your skin looking younger and more supple. Oranges could also prevent skin sagging, and may improve firmness.

Pink Himalyan Salt

Himalayan pink salt, the purest sea salt available in the world, is a super trendy ingredient in the food world. But it offers a wide range of benefits to the body too as it is minimally processed. Found in the Himalayan foothills of Pakistan, pink salt contains a lot of minerals, including magnesium and potassium. Pink salt has anti-inflammatory properties that heal and soothe skin by calming irritations and breakouts. It also helps retain moisture in the deeper layers of the skin.

Turmeric

In Indian culture, turmeric symbolizes purification, fertility, and good health. It is an Ayurvedic ingredient with anti-septic properties in it.

Turmeric reduces hyperpigmentation, stretch marks, and wrinkles, and eliminates dandruff from hair. As a result of its anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties, turmeric also heals wounds and minimizes pimple scars. Turmeric powder is also regarded as an excellent antioxidant for your skin.
